The bristles are long enough to handle long wet or dry hair gently and they also provide a great scalp massage. All I have to do is twist the handle to retract the bristles and the hair remains on the top of the flat brush which is easily dumped in the trash. The brush is also easy to keep clean — just run it under warm water and let it air dry. It comes in gray or light purple.
